Punchin’ Grumpy Unleashes a Sonic Storm with Debut EP “Have You Heard?” — A Riotous Blend of Punk, Grunge, and Rock Nostalgia

Straight out of the basement and into your face, Punchin’ Grumpy is ready to make your speakers bleed. Their debut EP, “Have You Heard?”, delivers a six-track blitz of punked-out grunge with enough attitude to shake the rust off your soul. It has all the feels of the 90’s without all the flannel.

Fusing the snarling hooks of Chris’s guitar and the gritty emotional wreckage of Robin’s bass, with the prog-minded chops of Randy on drums and the sludge-soaked ferocity of Mitch’s vocals, Punchin’ Grumpy is carving a crooked, glorious path through the noise. Toss in a back-alley brawl of classic rock and metal influence, and you’ve got a sound that’s familiar, filthy, and freshly unhinged.

They didn’t set out to make something pretty. Dirty riffs, big feelings, and weird time signatures that punch you in the teeth — but, like, emotionally are what Punchin’ Grumpy is all about.

The EP rips open and stalks the shadows with “Down That Hall”, then delivers a gut-punch meditation through “I'll Peace My Mind.   It gets downright nostalgic with “Jana Cadana” then stomps and snarls through the relentless “D.O.T.” All this leading into heart pounding menacing grooves with “Smile and Nod” and closes with the soul provoking “Pennyless Bastards”,
